What Information Do We Collect?
We collect information in two ways. First, we collect information that you voluntarily provide, such as through an email sign up form. This information usually includes your email address so that we can fulfill your request (e.g., add you to the newsletter list).
We also collect information automatically using features in Google Analytics, DoubleClick, and other third-party vendors. This includes, but is not limited to, user behavior (e.g., time on site, number of pages visited, etc.), user characteristics (e.g., demographics, interests, etc.), and other user data (e.g., device used to access site, screen resolution, etc.).
That information is typically collected using cookies, which are small pieces of data stored in your browser. You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by adjusting cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.
How Do We Use the Information?
We use the information that we collect to enhance the experience of visitors. This could be in the form of communication, website optimization, and remarketing.
We may use information you voluntarily provide (e.g., name and contact information) to communicate with you—whether we send you information that you request or update you on a benefit or service that we believe may be of interest to you. You will always have the option to stop receiving communication from us.
We may use your website usage data to enhance our website or product offerings so that we can give visitors to our website a better experience.
Do We Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?
We do not sell or trade your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
